Dima Postovoy (married+3) was born in the Crimean Peninsula, Ukraine. At the age of one and a half, he immigrated to Israel with his family, as part of the great wave of immigration from the former Soviet Union. The family settled in Kiryat Yam, in Neighborhood D - an area with complex socio-economic characteristics.

The environment in which he grew up was far from simple. Kiryat Yam of the 1990s and 2000s was characterized by crime, addictions, and severe social challenges. Within this reality, Postovoy experienced a childhood that shaped his combative and determined character - traits that would accompany him throughout his entire business career.

Dima has an older brother born with special needs as a result of a birth complication. The family responsibility placed on his shoulders from a young age, alongside the economic difficulties that accompanied his childhood, turned him into a person who naturally takes responsibility - for himself, for his family, and later - for his clients.

    Competitive Sports

Between the ages of 9 and 15, Postovoy played competitive table tennis at a high level. He participated in regional and national championships and developed a sense of competitiveness, self-discipline, and ability to perform under pressure - skills that would prove themselves later in the business world, especially in negotiations with banks and financial institutions.

Even today, Postovoy maintains an athletic and healthy lifestyle and integrates physical activity as a routine part of his life - a value he also instills in his team at the company.

    Education & Military Service

Postovoy studied at the Air Force Technological College in Haifa - a prestigious educational institution operating in cooperation with the Israeli Air Force. During his studies, he wore a uniform from age 14 as part of a unique technological track, and upon completion received an electronics engineering diploma.

After being drafted into the IDF, he was assigned to a designated role at the Palmachim base, within an advanced technological array. His military service was planned to lead him to a career in Israel's defense industries and high-tech sector. Alongside his service, he took courses in economics - a hobby that would later become his life's profession.

Despite a clear advancement path in the defense system, Postovoy chose at age 21 to pursue an entirely different direction - finance and entrepreneurship. This decision, surprising to those around him, stemmed from a deep feeling that he could make a real difference in the financing field and help people navigate one of the most significant financial decisions of their lives.

    Academic Studies & Professional Certifications

In 2023, as part of his aspiration to expand knowledge and strengthen his understanding of real estate from all angles, Postovoy participated in a construction entrepreneurship program at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, one of the world's leading academic institutions. The program provided him with practical and theoretical tools in real estate entrepreneurship.

In 2025, Postovoy completed financial planning studies in the international CFP (Certified Financial Planner) standard - a prestigious international professional certification considered the "gold standard" in financial advisory. The certification demonstrates a high level of professional knowledge in financial planning, risk management, retirement planning, and taxation.

Career: From Independent Advisor to CEO

In 2017, after completing his military service, Postovoy began his journey in the mortgage field. The decision to enter the field stemmed from a deep identification with the need to help ordinary people navigate one of the most complex financial processes - taking a mortgage.

In 2018, he joined the Israeli Mortgage Advisors Association - a professional body uniting independent mortgage advisors. That same year, in late 2018, he founded "Yichud Mortgages".

The company started as a small independent venture - Dima alone, a desk, and a computer. During the first year, the first employee joined, and more professionals followed. Dima's vision was clear from day one: to create a company that represents the client, not the bank.

As of the mid-2020s, the company has approximately 7 employees and two active branches - in Tirat Carmel (headquarters) and Herzliya. The company accompanies private clients and companies in mortgage and financing processes, handling cumulative credit volumes of tens of millions of shekels annually.

    "The Bully Against the Banks"

Due to his assertive approach against the banking system and emphasis on representing "the small client" against large financial institutions, Postovoy earned the unofficial title "the bully against the banks" - a nickname that became a symbol of his combative approach on behalf of his clients.

    Personal Life & Family

In 2018, alongside founding Yichud Mortgages, Postovoy purchased his first apartment - a step that symbolized his transition from a child who grew up in difficult conditions to an entrepreneur building his future with his own hands. In 2019, he married Alex, and the couple has three children.

Postovoy maintains an athletic and healthy lifestyle. He continues to engage in regular physical activity and views physical health as an inseparable part of business and personal success.
